Eliza Moreno is a writer and creative who currently works in communication and policy, where she hopes to center the lives of folx of color. Eliza is dedicated to placing herself at the centerfold of political issues and policy reform to help those who are often not in the room. She has four years of editorial experience covering issues of feminism, Black, Latinx, and Afro-Latinx identity, and cultural trends as the co-founder of a multi-campus student media outlet in North Carolina. Eliza also studied at Duke University, where she graduated with a B.A. in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies and Global Health.
